Well it has been quite a year so far.
Bryan's father past away on January 7th and we went to Utah to say our goodbyes. His funeral was on Saturday the 10th and it was a beautiful service. Even though I didn't know him long I enjoyed our visits and getting to know his sly humor, his love for good bbq and gracious hospitality, I always felt welcomed. I am grateful that he and Keoni got to meet and that he knew Keoni's middle name was after him. Ed was calling Keoni "Edard" before the end of our Thanksgiving visit. Ed also told me that Greg, Bryan's nephew, his middle name is also Edward and that when Greg was little and Ed would call Greg Edard, Greg would say " My name is not Edard! It's Greg! " You could tell Ed got a kick out of that. I'm glad I got to meet Ed and that he brought such a wonderful man into this world, yes I'm talking about Bryan! : )
