My baby boy seems to grow faster and faster everyday.
My parents watched him overnight last night and when Bryan and I went to pick him up he seemed as though he had grown a foot! Everyday goes by just a little too fast. Before you know it he's going to be asking me if he can drive the truck!
Thank you to Mom and Dad for loving him all you do ~ I'm realizing you do know how important it is to get a break from your children even though they are the cutest most adorable thing on earth. I can't thank you enough for all your love and support.
This is Keoni at at almost 5 months. My parents got him a baby einstein activity center for Christmas. He loved it! Here he can barely hold himself up straight.

Probably around 10 months Keoni got tired of the Einstein and it just sat there untouched. He had learned to crawl and there was much more to explore. Until just recently. See below.

That little boy took it upon himself to crawl up onto it and put himself inside. It was all new again. He loves the keyboard now and that was the one thing he hadn't really gotten into playing with before. It was hilarious. He is big for it but he thinks it's great. He bounces and just smiles so big. He seems to be so proud about climbing up into it by himself.
On some days he'll just walk around the outside of it. It's really helpful in letting him learn how to walk. He'll be playing with a toy and not realize he's not holding on, just standing there all by himself like a big boy. But as soon as he realizes he's standing, he plops down or grabs on again.

My monster baby!

Keoni and some of his playgroup on the merry-go-round. This was his favorite thing to do. He loved it and next year I'm sure he'll be able to hold onto a horse himself. In the meantime he just held onto the center pole.
Keoni on the tricycle racecourse.

Mommy and Keoni scarecrow.

Keoni's second favorite. It's a sandbox of kernel corn. He loves to dig and bury stuff.

This is Dad showing Keoni how amazing the rock was, he kept saying, "It's so light! "
Continuing our break in the van . . .

Here's Keoni with his Grandma and Grandpa. I think Grandma was looking at the lights and Grandpa and Keoni were watching the show.
This was the best game for Keoni to play. He hit a button and a hand reached out and tipped over ducks. After a few games he was more excited by the tickets that came out of the front. Grandpa kept the quarters coming!
Dad and Captain Jack? Captain Ron? Something to do with a rum or some alcohol. I can't remember.
Our guests, Uncle David and his family came to visit for a bit. It was really nice seeing them. They had just come from a Salmon Festival in Tahoe.
